As a specialist in arthritis and rheumatic diseases and internal medicine, Dr. Scalettar manages the entire spectrum of adult health. He is your health care advisor and responsible for assisting you in the prevention and treatment of medical illnesses. He will guide you to the care of other specialists when appropriate. He or an on-call associate is available for medical problems. However, if you have a medical emergency you should call 911 immediately.
Dr. Scalettar is Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University Medical Center. He works with the Hospitalists and Emergency Room staff to provide information for your care in the event of hospitalization.
